In six years, CloudFlare went from an idea during a Harvard Business School class trip to a company actively making the web faster, safer and better for more than 2.5 billion web surfers each month in 150 countries. Today, the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers more than 10 trillion requests per month–nearly 10 percent of all Internet requests worldwide. Since it launched, CloudFlare has built one of the largest global networks to date using its own infrastructure developed from scratch. CloudFlare operates more than 83 data centers worldwide–including 17 data centers in mainland China. The company has raised a total of $182M in funding from Fidelity, Baidu, Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, NEA, Venrock, and Pelion and has offices in San Francisco (HQ), Washington DC, London, Champaign, Illinois, Austin, TX and Singapore.
